At the IBG Group, in line with our policy of continuous investment in innovation, we foster partnerships with universities and institutes. To this end, we support research projects and provide researchers with access to our companies, teams, equipment, products, and materials. This alliance also helps universities bridge the gap between the knowledge produced and market needs. One of the most recent examples is the PIEGI program, which allowed 16 third-year students from the Industrial Engineering and Management course at the University of Minho to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world context at two IBG Group companies: DVM Global and Haken. The program lasted 14 weeks and covered topics such as Data Intelligence; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Decision Models; Production Planning and Control; and Project Analysis. We believe that these initiatives enable education and research to serve the development of not only our companies but also society as a whole.
