Processing of personal data
IBG International Business Group (hereinafter referred to as IBG), legal entity no. MT22313412, with headquarters at 1 St. Mark Street, London | Greater London | England | E1 8DA, is the entity responsible for the collection and processing of your personal data, for the purposes referred to in this privacy policy.
IBG undertakes to process your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act – Law 67/98, of October 26, and other applicable legislation in this matter, such as Law 41/2004, of August 18, as amended by Law 46/2012, of August 29, regarding privacy protection with respect to the processing of personal data. The Data Protection Act is about to be replaced by a European regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data), which comes into force from 25 May 2018.
Purpose of personal data collection
The collection of personal data by IBG aims at the management of contractual relationships, the provision of contracted services, and informational and marketing actions, particularly the sending of unsolicited communications for direct marketing purposes, namely via email, phone calls, including SMS (short message services), to promote campaigns, promotions, advertisements, and news about the products and services of IBG companies.
The personal data collected is intended to be used by IBG according to the purposes disclosed above, and the other companies of the IBG Group fully subscribe to this Policy.
Unsolicited communications (marketing)
By accepting this Policy, the data subject is authorizing IBG, in advance and expressly, to send unsolicited communications for direct marketing purposes, namely through the use of automated email systems.
However, the data subject may, at any time – even at the time of collection – revoke such authorization without any costs or consequences. To do so, send an email to marketing@IBG-global.com
After obtaining from its clients, in the context of the sale of a service and/or product, and in accordance with applicable legislation, their respective electronic contact details (email) and phone number, IBG may use them for direct marketing of its own products and/or services or others similar to those transacted, provided it clearly and explicitly guarantees clients the possibility to refuse, easily and free of charge, the use of such contacts:
- at the time of collection;
- with each message, if the client has not initially refused such use.
Data collection in closed networks
IBG, as far as possible, adopts data protection security mechanisms, and personal data circulates only in closed and secure networks, not using data collection in open networks (such as the internet), reducing the risk of it being seen and used by unauthorized third parties.
However, IBG informs that no security system can guarantee absolute protection.
