This year we celebrated International Women's Day with solidarity.
The IBG Middle Africa team visited the social project of the Horizonte Azul Reception Center, in the city of Viana, in Angola. Our IBG team was very well received in this house, where the joy of these girls is contagious. A project managed by and for women. The center hosts 73 girls and its mission is to prepare them for the future, ensuring food, education, safety and affection. Here they live in community and have a vegetable garden, a kitchen, library, sewing room, spaces to hang out and play. From a material point of view, the needs are great and the entire space needs to be rehabilitated. The support of external institutions is essential for the continuity of the project and we are committed to creating a positive impact on the lives of these children. In this sense, we created a campaign in Portugal to collect essential goods with the help of all employees.
